Zach Barnes, co-owner of Great Flood Brewing,
says, "We're actually located at the spot of one of
the supply depots during the '37 Flood. We didn't
know that until we saw the newspapers that my
grandmother had kept." Amid the food-themed
décor is this letter, from a Charles Fuller in South
Carolina. Fuller writes that he's 14 but "large for
my age." He continues:
"I am a Boy Scout of America and know a good bit
about frst aid. My daddy is a doctor, and I work
in a drugstore when not at school. I have been
driving cars and trucks for about four years. I can
do any man's job and will be glad to help. Please
answer this letter."
