Longtime Louisville bartender Reina Shannon (who has
poured drinks at the Monkey Wrench and now-closed
Meat, among other spots) runs Roux's Voodoo Lounge.
She designed the cocktail list with New Orleans in mind,
but these drinks — including (from far left) the Sazerac,
Horseshoes and Hand Grenades (Old Forester, Planta-
tion rum, guava juice, pineapple juice, grenadine) and a
frozen Irish coffee — are not the Technicolor, candy-fa-
vored sludge you get in souvenir glasses on Bourbon
Street. Also on the list, of course: a Hurricane.
