To go where I wanted to go, when I wanted to go there. To do what I wanted, when I wanted. It turns out large swaths of free time cause me equally large anxiety attacks. I took myself very seriously, constantly role-played (McDonald's cashier, bank teller, exercise instructor) and always believed I was 25 years old with a job, house and credit card. The freedom of adulthood is everything I ever wanted. I do miss being able to play make-believe and pretend that the real world doesn't exist. My psyche needs that right now.
