Owners Gary and Cheryl Loeser have been life partners for over 42 years and business partners for 17. Gary was raised just 12 blocks from where The Event Company office stands today. This past year, at the International Festival & Events Association Conference, The Event Company received a Gold/Pinnacle award as "Best Supplier to The Kentucky Derby Festival." For many years, The Event Company has worked hand in hand with great local and national corporations like Brown-Forman, General Electric, Kroger, Crown- Royal, Moet Champagne, The Kentucky Distillers Association, Playboy Magazine, Churchill Downs, The Darrel Griffith Foundation, University of Louisville, Bellarmine University, 100 Black Men Foundation, The Kentucky Opera, The YUM Center, The Ali Center and The Center for Inter-Faith Relations. Commitment to community and unselfish generosity to non-profit organizations that make this diverse and compassionate city so great are most important to Gary and Cheryl. Their contributions to events and organizations like the AIDS Walk, Fairness Campaign, Louisville Pride and Cedar Ridge Presbyterian Camp are unending. What's more, through The Event Company, Gary and Cheryl are able to support community schools with everything from stage sets to welcome-back parties.
