B'Angelo J'Vohn "BJ" Anderson, Young & Relentless
BJ started playing on his dad's Dirt Bowl team, named Relentless, at just 13 years old, a compact five-foot-and-change
kid hanging with grown men. The summer basketball tournament in Louisville's West End kicked off in June at
Shawnee Park and runs throughout this month. BJ said he's not afraid of playing street ball with six-footers. Heck, last
year he took a charge. Now 15, he'll be playing on a high-school-aged team in one of two youth divisions. "You can just
do fancy stuff in the Dirt Bowl. You can show off, basically," he says. — Anne Marshall
