And for my money, nobody in town blends those ingredients — their proportions, their quality and their potency — quite like Vint. I've had rivals' versions that tasted too thin, or too harsh, or too coffee-weighted, or not coffee-weighted enough, or whose chocolatey component lacked distinction. This one's like Goldilocks' third choice: just right. Even other Heine Brothers' outlets — Vint is owned by HB — can't reproduce the ambrosial character of this wonder java. — Jack Welch O Critic's Choice O 919 Barret Ave. LOUISVILLE COMMUNITY ACCUPUNCTURE We really didn't want this secret to get out, but…you're welcome. QI STAGNATION RELIEF Famous graduates include current and past Best of Louisville winners (from left): James Olliges Jr. ('96), aka Jim James of My Morning Jacket; WAVE- 3 sports director Kent Taylor ('89); and radio personality Terry Meiners ('75). In October 2008, when asked about attending the school, James told us, "I almost liked being in that environment because I always felt like such a freak, and it made me feel prouder and gladder to be a weirdo running the halls."
