we poked fun at 12 past covers, from
November 1955 to July 2014) included
the March 1992 cover with the comment,
"Who is that creeper in the bushes?" Fred
Wiche, who died in 1998, is still missed by
many of us. No other gardening expert has
ever taken his place.
