On Valentine's Day, the bakery is hosting a brunch that includes quiche, scones, chocolate bread pudding and other bites, and in the evening it'll have a tasting of cream puffs, fourless chocolate cake and other sweets. Here's what Delatorre ate on a recent Saturday. 6:15 a.m.: Smoothie with mixed berries, avoca- do, grapes, chia seeds, turmeric and unsweet- ened coconut milk. I love smoothies and try to have one every morning. I always drink lots of water throughout the day, almost a gallon depending on what my schedule is. 8:30 a.m. Spoonful of egg salad. LOVE eggs in any way! 11-ish: Bite of opera cake — quality control :). Bite of brownie (ditto). 12:30 p.m. I like taking sausage, slicing it, and slow-cooking it with onions. When it is all done, I shred Brussels sprouts and then toss it all with rotini pasta, topped with Parmesan cheese. Kids love it. 3 p.m. Apple slices. 8:30 p.m. Dinner at Bombay Grill, an Indian restaurant on North Hurstbourne Parkway. I went with Gobi 65 (fried caulifower fritters). Really good. Goat biryani with cardamom, mint, saffron. Chicken tikka masala; my kids love this. Gajar halwa (carrots with honey and butter). My bones underground, but I am not buried. My whiskey near, but I cannot drink. I point to diners' feet, but eat no decadence. I went east to Market, should've run to Spain. What am I? Answer: Mounted steer skull in Decca's cellar lounge (812 E. Market St.).
