136 LOUISVILLE MAGAZINE 10.14 style fashion Roberts works in advertising at Creative Alliance. How would you describe your style? "Like everybody, I'm infuenced by Audrey Hepburn. I'm also drawn to bold prints and things that are simple but styled well." Why is personal style important to you? "You have to have something that matches your personality. If you have to dress really professional for the day, you can always play with jewelry, fnd a way to make your statement." What is your offce's dress code? "Depends on clients. If it's 'dress like an adult day,' we dress more reserved, with a jacket. Other days are more relaxed — like, at least please just shower (laughs)." Where do you shop in town? "I haven't been here very long, but I like fnding some of these small shops where people have interesting things. Like Nitty Gritty or jewelry stores. My outft today is from Nordstrom and Banana Republic." What are some favorite pieces from your own closet? "A pair of Army-green pants that are so old and falling apart, but I can't stop wearing them. Also shirtdresses and a nice black Armani skirt that is very simple."
