I always order the crème caramel and a snifter of Grand Marnier." What Louisville dish have you eaten more than any other? "I've probably had a couple hundred orders of green-chili wontons from the Bristol." What closed Louisville restaurant do you miss the most? "Zephyr Cove on Frankfort Avenue, where I learned to explore and appreciate wine and pairings." What's always in your refrigerator? "Pickles, cheeses, smoked foods. I am quite the brisket enthusiast." Favorite cereal? "Cinnamon Toast Crunch." Favorite snack? "Right now: a mustard-seeded Cheddar from England." What dish do you make at home most often? "Broccoli casserole." Last drink you had? "German Riesling." The frst drink you ever had? "I was young and at a holiday party. After working up quite a thirst, I returned to what I thought was my ice water and downed the whole thing before realizing it was of the adult nature. Straight vodka. I breathed the deepest breath I ever had. My lungs were on fre!" Best-bang- for-your-buck bar in town? "Kern's Korner." What's the one thing a home bar is incomplete without? "Bourbon — the most patriotic and American of all the spirits." When do you know to cut yourself off? "When I start talking to myself too much." Turkey burger with cranberry relish, melted Brie, garlic aioli and fresh arugula at Big Four Burgers and Beer in Jeffersonville, Ind. Breakfast burrito (scrambled eggs, chorizo, potatoes and too many other ingredients to list) at Ramiro's Cantina. And it wasn't even part of the breakfast package in this issue! Filipino fried rice with chicken and shrimp at Sari Sari. Spicy. "French-fried Kennebec potatoes," ahi tuna lettuce wraps, a sausage-stuffed pork chop, and a plate of chocolates and cookies at Wiltshire on Market. Don't judge: Two sausage biscuits with egg and two hash browns from McDonald's following a late night that began at the Jake Bugg concert at Headliners.
