3.14 LOUISVILLE MAGAZINE 1 0 5 Street Style Racquel Patillo Apple Support Patillo is accounting manager at 21c Museum Hotel. Photographed downtown on Market and Fifth streets. How would you describe your personal sense of style? "Classic with a modern twist." What is an essential accessory for businesswomen? "Jewelry that ties the outft together." How do you stay warm and dry and still look chic? "If you are outside, a cute coat and cute shoes are a must." Where do you shop? "I never shop online because I like to try things on. I love to shop at New York and Co. and Kohl's. Defnitely like getting more for my money." Stylist and Louisville Magazine contributor Pascale Cross visited New York City during Fashion Week in early February. The travel enthusiast says that there is nothing quite like the city's energy, with skyscrapers, big dreams and high fashion. "Fashion has the power to evoke reactions from those who admire it," Cross says. "For me, that was inspiration, to dare to express myself through fashion — something people can do no matter what city they live in." She snapped some street style photos (above) and met up with friends and Louisville natives Erin Salay and Aaron Travis, both models currently living in New York.
