Special Advertising Section Louisville-based Elmcroft Senior Living Continues to Expand Services in Greater Louisville Market Elmcroft Senior Living is a Louisville headquartered provider of senior housing services and its independent, assisted living, and dementia care communities servs approximately 5700 residents in 86 communities in 19 states. Elmcroft also serves approximately 1600 skilled nursing and rehabilitatios patients in its 19 health centers. Residents in each community have access to Elmcroft's signature programs, such as its Vitality Club life enhancement program that encourages and supports healthy living, while honoring and respecting every individual. Heartland Village, its unique secured memory care neighborhoos offers services at thetOaklawn, Valley Farms, and Mt. Washington communities. The Heartland Village program utilizes the Best FriendsĀ® approach and is built around each individual's life history, cultural heritage, current abilities, and interests. When Elmcroft at Oaklawn opened late 2012 on the existing campus of Oaklawn Health & Rehabilitation Center, it became Louisville's newest campus offering a continuum of elder care services. On this campus, Elmcroft offers personal care senior living services, secure dementia care services, rehabilitation services, long term nursing care services, and outpatient therapy services. Construction is complete on a new state of the art ,000 square foot therapy gym, providing both in-patient and out-patient therapy to campus residents.
