FEED Back J anua ry 2 01 3 $4.70 How do you get a 6-pack? Heck if we know. Dance, dance, dance In regards to the article Sunday Night at Pranksters Parish in the January issue: simply amazing! Writer Arielle Christian did a wonderful job of bringing this band, this place, these people to life. I know for a fact that it was spot on. I have not read your magazine before, but you have certainly made me take notice. I would like to thank the writer, editor and magazine for taking an interest in all of Louisville and bringing us all to light and life. I will certainly be checking out your magazine from here on out, as well as spreading the word about you. Consider it canceled I have subscribed to the magazine for many years. Maybe even from the beginning. I have seen changes but none like the ones begun with the December 2012 issue. My mrst clue was when Bob Hill was not on the back page.I always look there mrst, just like for Deborah Paul in Indianapolis Monthly and Rick Bragg in Southern Living. The January issue did it.The contents were poor. The last page was not clever. And you even changed the size? My subscription expires January 2014. Please cancel it beginning with the February issue.I expect a refund because your current magazine is not the magazine I subscribed to. Jeanne G. Mueller Indianapolis Oh, those abs Im really enjoying the new energy and attitude of the magazine. I loved reading your stories in the mtness feature (January 2013). Very impressive on the CrossFit. I tried Pure Barre a couple times with some girls I used to work with, but I left without even breaking a sweat. I also really enjoyed the fashion/style page. Hope you all are planning on doing more like that. Now heres my ofmcial letter to the editor: Whose abs are on the cover? Amy Talbott Louisville The cult of CrossFit You left out CrossFit Bluegrass (Whats your mtness personality? January 2013) located at 13100 Middletown Industrial Blvd. (opened Labor Day weekend 2012). Coach and part-owner JoEllyn McAtee is an enthusiastic leader who has also competed in the CrossFit games that have been shown on ESPN. Your article was spot on about the WOD (Workout of the Day) kicking your butt, but the camaraderie brings you back for more. I dont even feel bad saying I am always the weenie in the class. You work at your own level, and you cant help but get better with so much support being handed around. As the famous saying goes, Try it; youll like it! Christine Austin Louisville Lees Lincoln What a great piece by Jon Lee Cope on Lincoln Elementary School (Lincolns Revisionist History, January 2013). We were all very impressed at the great story, the amazing spread and the new format for the magazine.Weve heard so many compliments after the article www.nmfn-louisville.com 8 LOUISVILLE MAGAZINE 3.13 appeared.
