Visitors recapture the romance of a bygone era through the museum's exhibits and train excursions. The 5,000-square-foot depot is a replica of the original brick L&N New Haven depot and houses more than 100 pieces of rail artifacts. For a unique birthday experience, why not ride the rails with your friends while celebrating the occasion? The birthday car is available between April and November. Reservations are required. Visitors tell us their favorites are a Day Out with Thomas, Pumpkin Patch Express and the Christmas Trains. In 2019, visitors may also enjoy a new event where children can meet there favorite Super Hero or Princess. Specialty trains such as the Great Train Robbery, Luncheon Excursions and Murder Mysteries are also available. Our annual car show is a fan favorite and is always held the third Saturday in October.
