PRESENTING SPONSOR: HOSTED BY: CHARITY PARTNER: Best of Cowbells and Crashers We've been doing this Best of Louisville ® gig for 32 years now and it still surprises me how much fun it is to throw a party where the city's best come out to help you celebrate all that is local and excellent. There were a lot of high points at this year's Best of Louisville ® celebration — presenting awards to the 50 winners, top-notch (top-nosh?) food and drink sampling and a full-to-bursting Kentucky Center lobby, to name a few — but the apex of the evening had to be the fierce onstage cowbell competition, with boisterous help from the Louisville Crashers, among the WAVE-3 contingent of Scott Reynolds, Kent Taylor, Kevin Harned and Dawne Gee. Nobody in Louisville gets people on to the dance floor like the Crashers, so it was great to have them back to cap off the evening. Thanks to them and to all of the exhibitors who plied the 800-plus guests with delicious bites and pours for making it a special evening.
