LOUISVILLE MAGAZINE 11.16 55 ROMAN ALLGEIER 7, second grade, Cochran Elementary Math whiz would be a perfect term to describe Roman, especially in multiplication and division. You're in Boy Scouts? "Yes. One day I built a toolbox. Another day I built a birdhouse. My dad helps me." What do you want to do when you grow up? "I might make animal prosthetics. One time for a whole week I went to a zoo camp. They talked about that you can make animal prosthetics, and I think that I would probably like to do that." Do you have any pets? "We used to have a pet fish, but then she stopped swimming. Then she was swimming upside down and I don't think that it was very good. I have a robot that's a dinosaur. He kind of acts like a dog. I can control him with my tablet. He also has a toy ball, and he has different modes you can set him to. So you can activate a leash mode and things like that. His name is Max." Ian Timothy Then: Timothy was a senior at St. X. His claymation series, Beaver Creek, had won first prize at the Burbank International Film Festival. For college, he wanted to attend the California Institute of the Arts. Now: "I was at CalArts, but now I'm working full-time in animation on this kids' show called Tumbleweeds on Amazon Prime. I actually left school, which is really common in the animation world." ORIGINAL SUPER KID, 2012
