The Face of
Bourbon
As with all good stories, it started with a girl. Dr. Kaveh Zamanian, a licensed clinical psychologist/psychoanalyst
and founder of Rabbit Hole Distilling, fell in love with a Kentucky girl. Heather Bass introduced him to bourbon and
encouraged him to take a trip down the rabbit hole. After twenty years of clinical practice and academia, he left the
analytic couch to pursue his passion for bourbon and other fine spirits.
Kaveh is now in the bourbon game, reveling in the creative process of building a distillery in NuLu and working with
the deepest palates in the industry to make unique recipes of whiskey. His goal is to break from the uniformity of
mass production, make outstanding whiskey and inspire more people to discover and enjoy bourbon.
