"His name is Aeolus, and we call him E.O.
Aeolus was the Greek god of the wind.
My husband and I absolutely love this
bird. He was a 'human imprint' when we
got him as a baby. He's 24 now. 'Human
imprint' means that the bird was raised
by humans and it thinks it's a human.
When it's mating time, he wants to mate
with one of us. He doesn't care which one.
Honest to Pete. No one can handle him
but my husband and me; anyone else, he'll
rip them open. When a vulture bites, he
grabs, he twists, and then he pulls. It can
hurt. He's got me a few times just playing."
