86 LOUISVILLE MAGAZINE 5.16 OVERVIEW BirraCibo 445 S. Fourth St. The Meal: Roasted beet and fennel salad Italian beef tacos Roasted mushroom tacos Puttanesca pizza (pancetta, fennel sausage, black olives, capers, tomatoes, Asiago and Fontina cheeses) Locavore pizza (roasted market vegetables, Pecorino cheese, fresh mozzarella) Cap'n Crunch "cereal milk" ice cream Lemon ice cream The Party: Suki Anderson, art director Michelle Eigenheer, executive assistant Josh Moss, editor Elizabeth Myers, Louisville.com editor Mickie Winters, photographer "The menu has tacos, pizza and burgers. Who's the target audience? America?" — JM "This is local, but it still has the corporate feel of a chain restaurant. If you're a restaurant at Fourth Street Live, you have to cater to out- of-towners who are staying at the hotels and want to see familiar things on the menu." — SA "The Puttanesca pizza is too salty. I can't taste anything. And the capers, they don't translate as well to pizza as they do to pasta. I do like the crust." — EM "The pizza with all the veggies is spring-y." — EM "I think the pizza taco is pretty weird. They're just calling it a taco because it's folded. It tastes like pizza without the sauce." — SA "This Italian beef taco kind of reminds of a Chow Wagon gyro." —JM "Like Subway." — ME "The one with mushrooms is good." — SA "The Cap'n Crunch ice cream is my favorite thing here." — EM "This is actually Cap'n Crunch dusted on top, right?" — JM "Yes, and inside. We have Cap'n Crunch in the back. They crunch it up. I don't know how they make it into ice cream, but they do. Then they sprinkle it on top. We've done Crunch Berries ice cream too. It was delightful." — server "I've only been to Fourth Street Live for bachelorette parties." — ME
