Tums. Bacon-and-cheese scone at Quills Coffee. More cheesy than bacon-y. We could have eaten three of them. OK, six. Bourbon balls at Muth's. Also, the chorizo burger with sun-dried tomato aioli, pork belly and a medium-fried egg. Perfect. Chicken and dumplings at North End Cafe. Also, the grilled vegetable sandwich with goat cheese. Butter beans with house-smoked ham hock and Monterey Jack-green onion cornbread at Monkey Wrench. Banana split and key lime pie doughnuts at the Amazing Glaze Donut Co. in Greenville, Ind. The Glaze was just bought by Adrienne & Co. bakery and cafe in Jeffersonville, which plans to change the name but, thank goodness, keep the doughnuts.
