School Guide Listings Private Schools Elementary Schools All schools are in Louisville and in area code 502 unless another city or area code is specifed. A.P. Courses: The number of advanced-placement, college-credit courses that a school ofers. (Note: Sacred Heart Academy's total includes 15 International Baccalaureate courses.) Bus Service and Cost: A "Yes" indicates that a school provides private bus service to and/or from school. Usually such service is limited to a specifc geographical area. Cost is annual unless specifed. Religious-afliated schools are denoted with a leter code in parentheses afer the school name. The religious codes are: (AG) Assembly of God, (B) Baptist, (C) Christian, (L) Lutheran, (P) Protestant, (RC) Roman Catholic, and (S) Seventh-Day Adventist. Catholic high schools and parish elementary schools are listed in separate tables. High Schools Tuition: A Catholic parochial school with a "stewardship" plan charges no tuition to parish members who atend that school. Others must pay a tuition fee. The information on private schools in the tables that follow was provided by each individual school. ACT and SAT Scores: The combined or composite average scores for each school. SAT scores represent combined reading and math scores. % to College: The percentage of students from a school's most recent graduating class who went on to two- or four-year colleges. Register By: Schools with "open" registration allow new-student registration at any time during the year. Schools with dates prefer (in some cases require) registration by the given date.
