"I know Beyoncé has to be on the list. I like everything she does. She is good at it all." "Dance For You," Beyoncé "Just a Fool," Christina Aguilera and Blake Shelton "Stay," Rihanna "Just Give Me a Reason," Pink ? one QUESTION Singer-guitarist Sydney Chadwick, drummer Cameron Lowe and bassist Ashley Bowen formed the Debauchees three years ago as Eastern High School students. "I wanted to make a folk band," the 19-year-old Chadwick says, "but one day we invited Ashley out to play with us and that changed." The band's biggest musical infuences? The Pixies and Talking Heads. This month, the trio will put out Big Machines and Peculiar Beings, with a release show at Haymarket Whiskey Bar on Nov. 8. About the new album, Chadwick says, "It's OK if you don't like it — but you're wrong and we hate you." She says the band's name comes from an episode of SpongeBob SquarePants. Is the name accurate? Are you all debauched? "After the last show we just went home. I made a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and went to sleep," says Bowen, 20.
