Cross the new pedestrian bridge from the
Belvedere to the Muhammad Ali Center
and you'll fnd a plaza and amphitheater
that overlook those adorable offces and
apartments lined up on Main Street. The
dozen or so jagged rows of limestone
seats create an intimate live music or
picnic experience. If that's not enough
aesthetic, a glass water fountain springs
from the ground like a miniature cityscape.
It's as if you're, shall we say, foating like a
butterfy, because the space is up in the
sky, doubling as a parking garage's rooftop.
We've seen it all lit up at night. Wedding
parties pose for pictures there and, this
year for the frst time, the amphitheater
was part of the Abbey Road on the River
concerts. Go at sunset.
